Affordable Rental Housing Initiative
Our mission has always been to advance economic freedom for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) in Western Canada. Recognizing the pressing housing crisis in Canada and its significant impact on our community, we will expand our services to include affordable rental housing. This initiative aligns seamlessly with our core vision of fostering economic empowerment and equality.
Why Affordable Housing?
The lack of affordable housing disproportionately affects BIPOC communities, exacerbating economic disparities. By providing access to affordable rental housing, we aim to:
- Reduce Housing Insecurity: Ensure that families have a safe and stable place to live.
- Promote Economic Stability: Alleviate financial burdens, allowing individuals to focus on career and educational advancements.
- Strengthen Communities: Foster a sense of community and belonging through stable housing.
