MBA Practicum Placement

Through our collaboration with University Canada West (UCW), we connect eligible companies in our network with MBA students you may hire (paid, unpaid, or stipend based) for 12-20 hours per week in conjunction with their 12 week MBA Graduate Practicum exit course.
Throughout the Work Integrated Learning experience, students spend most of their course hours working directly within your company, and spend additional time in the classroom honing their soft skills and knowledge of the Canadian business environment based on their experience with you.

What We Do
BIPOC Foundation’s main mantra is Economic freedom within Reach for the BIPOC community. Our programs provide actionable insights, tangible resources, and substantial connections for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color in Western Canada – starting with Black-owned businesses.
Our Story
As part of the intricate tapestry of Canadian multiculturalism, BIPOC Foundation was established to create entrepreneurship opportunities for diverse populations at the intersection of economic development and social justice, starting with the Black community. With a three-year $2.6M federal investment announced by the Government of Canada in February 2022, we work among a network of influential non-profits delivering on mandates to diversify the Western Canadian economy by establishing an accelerator program, providing foundational business and growth training, and connecting Black entrepreneurs with investors. We aim to close economic involvement gaps, address the low number of Black-owned businesses regionally, create open and relatable pathways to opportunity, and address the impacts of systemic racism and discrimination.
